Friends for a Cause is an all volunteer organization of all ages and denominations that provide information and direct support to charities, events, and people in the local metro Jackson, MS area. We are classified as a 501(C) (3) charitable organization to maximize our efficiency.
Our Support can include:

• Direct advertisement of events and charities
• Fundraising
• Contribution of volunteers
• Local job opportunities for those in need of employment/employees
• And much, much more!

The events and functions are fun and a great way to serve the Lord, meet new people, and utilize our gifts to make a difference in our area. We believe that individuals and groups can make a difference and prove this every day.  Faith can indeed move mountains!

Our organization is structured to make it simple and fun to help our community. Please note the different levels that you can participate:

• MEMBER: When you signup for our newsletter, you're then considered a member. Best of all, membership is FREE!
• VOLUNTEER: Anyone who attends an event that we've promoted with the intention of serving. This is also a great way to meet new people in a positive and fun environment.
• COMMITTEE MEMBER: Anyone who volunteers to help with an entire event promoted by Friends for a Cause. In this case you would be exposed to the project from start to finish.
• SPONSOR: Any Individual, Company, or organization who donates money, service, or products to aid a project, event, or Friends for a Cause itself. Please visit our "Sponsors and Affiliates" page on the site, and try to support these companies and organizations when ever possible. We wouldn't be here without them!  
• BOARD MEMBER: People who are appointed to help overlook (budgeting, guidance, support, etc.) projects and events that we sponsor.

Board meetings are held two times a year. We (usually) have open meetings for regular members immediately before or after board meetings. These meetings are announced in our newsletters.

With our inspirational Staff and our 501(C)(3) IRS status we are now ready to expand this ministry!

We have one of the best ratings listed in the: Report of Charitable Organizations in Mississippi at the Secretary of State office. This was accomplished by the awesome team above, volunteering their time and energy into this ministry for FREE. Nobody is on the payroll here!
